Septic System Inspections

Our focus is to complete your inspection as quickly as possible and provide you with the information you need regarding the health of your septic system.

Maintenance and Repair

Performing regular maintenance is vital to a healthy septic system. A system failure can be expensive to repair and could become an environmental hazard that can contaminate well and groundwater.

Septic System Monitoring

As a homeowner, it is important to regularly inspect and monitor your septic system to ensure it is functioning properly.

Septic System Inspections

You should periodically inspect your home's septic system. If properly designed, constructed and maintained, your septic system can provide long-term, effective treatment of household wastewater. If your septic system isn’t maintained properly, you may need to replace it, causing you to spend money needlessly.

The typical household septic system should be inspected from one to three years depending on the complexity of the system. Every three years for a gravity system, once a year for all others.
With the recent uptick in residential sales, we have been performing many inspections for home sales. When buying or selling a home, a septic system inspection is required prior to the close of the sale. We are committed to make this process as quick and trouble free as possible.

We promptly complete the inspection paperwork and get it filed online with the county within a couple of days.

Maintenance, Repair,
and Service Calls

One sign of a potential septic problem is the smell of sewage permeating from the septic tank or drain field. Some homeowners discover raw sewage backing up in sinks and bathtubs or notice problems when flushing toilets. In extreme situations, homeowners may find raw sewage or foul-smelling water seeping through the ground in the drain field. When this happens, it's time to call in the professionals at Safe Harbor Septic.
Safe Harbor Septic is committed to completing your repair quickly and with as little disruption as possible.

During an inspection, if we uncover a problem, we can almost always perform the repair. In the event that we cannot, we will help find another professional who can.

Septic System Monitoring

Today’s septic systems require frequent monitoring and maintenance to ensure they continue to function properly. If your system is not monitored and maintained properly, the chances of pre-mature failure increases. The costs involved with repairing a modern day on-site sewage system can run into tens of thousands of dollars very quickly.
So why not have Safe Harbor Septic ensure that your system is operating as designed? We are fully licensed, insured and bonded.

We provide personalized information regarding your system and how to care for it. We follow up every service visit with a copy of the report to the county detailing what services and maintenance we performed on your system.

What we don't do...

We do not install or replace septic tanks or drain fields, and we do not perform septic tank pumping. Therefore we are not attempting to sell you these services. Although, if during an inspection we recognize the need for one of these professional services, we will recommend a local company who has a reputation for outstanding service.
